ABOUT THE AUTHOR

Hi, I’m Krystal—welcome.
This space was created as a place for honesty, hope, and healing, and I’m so glad you’re here.
I’ve been married for 15 years to my husband, Jarrian Wilson, and together we are raising our 14-year-old son, who keeps us on our toes and reminds us daily how quickly time moves. Our family wouldn’t be complete without our four-legged mixed “toddler,” Gideon, who brings endless energy, personality, and joy into our home.

I have always had a deep love for children—their curiosity, resilience, and the way they see the world with fresh eyes. That love has shaped much of my life and the spaces I serve in and one of the reasons why I went back to school to achieve my Bachelor's Degree in Elementary Educational Studies.
Alongside that, dance has always been a place of freedom and expression for me. It’s where my body speaks when words fall short. Nowadays, dance looks like a little jig in the kitchen and watching local dance shows but I myself have not danced in years. I also find peace in nature—quiet moments, fresh air, and reminders of God’s presence in creation help ground my heart.

At the core of who I am is a desire to encourage other women. I know what it’s like to walk through seasons of grief, uncertainty, and growth, while also wearing the many hats like wife, mom, sister, aunt, etc. I believe there is power in sharing our stories honestly. My hope is that through my writing, you’ll feel seen, encouraged, and reminded that you are not alone—wherever you are on your journey.

Here, you can expect reflections on faith, life, family, grief, growth, and the beauty of trusting God in every season. This is a space for real conversations, gentle encouragement, and enduring hope.

Signed,

A still growing woman,
Krystal W.
